Course ReflectionWriting for the Professions is a crucial part of the professional writing minor because of the experiential learning that is involved along with the practical lessons that are taught. Through this class, my group and I worked with a client to provide the best professional writing materials possible. I learned to work more cohesively in a group setting along with crucial time management skills. This course also allowed for the growth of knowledge when it came to important topics like audience, purpose, and using the digital platform successfully.
I also gained an immense knowledge of editing and working with writing on the internet. We learned how to best communicate with our audience through the website and edit effectively to make sure that our writing was error free. Overall, I think that our project was successful and the links to our work can be seen below in our compiled documents for the semester. |

This assignment required in depth research on the development of technology in relation to rhetoric. I chose to analyze the type writer and examine how that had a rhetorical affect on its audience. From this assignment I gained better researching skills along with a stronger ability to form a cohesive argument.
This is a document that describes and shows everything that my group and I have completed throughout this semester. We worked together to create a proposal document that was suitable for our client, edited many pages in the Bloomsburg University website, 29 to be exact, created two new Pinterest boards, and implemented usability testing for all new and updated pages along with the Pinterest board. This project was very influential to my growth throughout this class because it strengthened my editing skills along with my abilities to work well in a professional environment.
This was my final presentation for Writing in the Professions. This is a compilation of all of the work that we completed through the semester in a cohesive presentation that we presented in front of our client and a similar audience.
